WHAT IS A HIGH CARD IN POKER?

What is a high card in poker?

A high card hand ranks last on the poker hand rankings list. This hand does not form any combination of five cards and is therefore ranked based on the highest card among the five different cards. All five cards in this hand are of different rank and suit and are not capable of forming any possible union that is why they are least valued in poker. If unluckily you get the high card hand, then there are minimal chances of making it to the showdown and the pot finally.
